This vacation rental home is in a wonderful location "on the hill"

in Saugatuck's quiet residential area a couple blocks above the downtown.

The house was built around 1862 by a Great Lakes shipping captain.

Emma Hubbard bought the house from him a few years later.

The house has belonged to the same family ever since.

Emma Hubbard is buried in the Saugatuck Riverside Cemetery.

Emma's house rents by the week, Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday

from mid-June to the first week in September.

The rest of the year there is a two night minimum.

 
Emma's House is furnished with many lovely antiques and has an 1880's Victorian feel. The house has three bedrooms, one and one half baths and sleeps up to nine. There are two queen size beds, one double size bed, and one twin bed upstairs and a queen size sleeper sofa downstairs. Central air conditioning makes Emma's comfortable in the summer and the wood burning fireplace is cozy in the cool months.

Ammenities include cable TV, DVD player, board games and books.  WiFi available.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, service for twelve, dish washer, microwave, and coffee maker.

Bed linens and towels are provided however, guests should bring their own beach towels.

A washer and dryer are available for your use.

The large back yard includes games, a grill,

picnic table, and lounges.

  Emma's is available year round.

  RATES:

      January 1 , 2012 through June 14, 2012-- full week rentals are available at

      $1200 per week (plus taxes) -or- $200 per night (plus taxes) with a

      two night minimum.

      June 15, 2012 through September 6, 2012-- Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday

      full week rentals are available at $1500 per week   (plus taxes).

   

      September 7, 2012 through December 31, 2012-- full week rentals are available at

      $1200 per week (plus taxes) -or- $200 per night (plus taxes) with a

      two night minimum.
