the Built Environment
The PRESERVATION of the BUILT ENVIRONMENT award is presented to owners, designers, and
builders for rehabilitation or renovation projects that preserve the architectural
integrity of existing structures; respect the area’s historic character in terms of
style, scale, material, etc.; and blend well with their surroundings.
